The dress is made of chiffon and charmeuse. I want to know what is the difference between tulle and chiffon.

Tulle is a lightweight, very fine netting, which has lots of open space, often in the form of little hexagons, while Chiffon is a woven fabric, transparent, and tends to hang straight down, like it was flowing. Chiffon is see-through much like tulle but has a tighter weave and is therefore, more dense. Hope this information helps.

Charmeuse is a lightweight fabric woven with a satin weave. Charmeuse differs from plain satin in that charmeuse is softer and lighter in weight. Charmeuse has some elasticity. Hope it helps.

As for the fabrics of this dress, the inside layer is made of charmeuse and the outside layer is made of chiffon. So the dress will not see through.

Since chiffon is the outside layer, we suggest you get the chiffon swatch. Please be aware that the visual effect differs a little when there is a charmeuse layer beneath it.
