This evening purse is the right size for someone who's small in stature or someone who's "young at heart" - I'm 60 (but people think I'm 45 :)). The rose is sewn really well to the purse and the color hues of silver and grey stand out. I like the option of 2 different sizes of silver handles - a short one if you wanted to carry the purse as a handbag and a longer one as a shoulder bag but either way it's just a beautiful complement if you're wearing a short cocktail dress (like I will) or a long gown. Interchanging the handles is a breeze but I have short nails be careful if you have long. You can carry your cell phone, lipstick, compact mirror and a pack of tissue which I tried and the purse didn't sag as much as I thought it would. As with anything elegant be careful of stains which might mean dry cleaning expense.
