Charmeuse is a lightweight fabric woven with a satin weave. Charmeuse differs from plain satin in that charmeuse is softer and lighter in weight. Charmeuse has some elasticity. Hope it helps.

It is possible to have this dress made with another strap on the top, sort of pleated to match the bodice. I love the shape but it is for my son's wedding and I feel it is a bit too bare for this event. Also I would like it made knee length and the skirt part a bit more flowy. Is it beading across the shoulder strap? It's a bit hard to tell in the photos. Maybe a zoom option on your site would work. Thanking you.
