Here, we'll show you which measurements are needed and how to correctly take them. Warning: measuring yourself at home is trickier than you think! For best results, always have your measurements taken by a professional local tailor.
Bust
*This is not your bra size!
*Wear an unpadded bra (your dress will have a built-in bra)
*Relax arms at sides
*Pull tape across the fullest part of the bust
Waist
*Find the natural waist
*This is the smallest part of the waist
*Usually about 1 inch (ca. 2.5cm). above belly button
*Keep tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room
Hips
*Find the widest part of the hips
*Usually about 7 inch (ca. 18cm). below natural waist
*Tape should brush across both hipbones
Shoulder
Shoulder - From the edge of the shoulder socket, measure across the back to the same point on the other shoulder.
Hollow to Floor (Bare Foot)
*Stand straight with feet together
*Measure in bare feet
*Begin at the hollow space between the collarbones and pull tape straight down to the floor
*To fit high heels, we’ll add an extra 2 inch (ca. 5cm) onto custom-sized floor-length dresses and dresses with trains
Height
* Stand straight with feet together
* Measure in bare feet
* Begin at the top of the head and
pull tape straight down to the floor

I just received this dress custom made. I must say it is very well made and I received it very quickly. My only complaint is that I am petite and short waisted. I gave my measurements and it fits well EXCEPT for the fact that the waist is not where it should be on me. In order for the top of it to fit properly, I have to pull it down which puts the waist at about where my belly button is. The proportions are off a bit for me in that there should be more skirt hanging like in the photo and a shorter bodice. I love the dress as pictured and it would have looked like that on me if the waist had been where it needed to be on me. I would suggest you put another measurement in your custom measurements from hollow to waistline perhaps and that would solve the problem. As it is, I will wear it. It's only 1 day and I can make it work.

I bought this dress in dark navy for my engagement party! The dress is absolutely perfect! The quality is better than I expected! The tailors have made a perfect job. Regarding the sizes I was a little bit afraid and so I ordered 1 size up , because I thought that it might be some difference or something like that, I should have bought the 8. Still the dress is perfect! Everyone loved it. As you can see at the photos and the dress fits perfect.
